Multiplication Madness Party Sign Up
Parents,
Here is a Google Sheet for sign ups to bring items to the Multiplication Madness Party on Friday. Our class needs to bring 40 bananas, 16 quarts of chocolate ice cream, and parent volunteers to help serve. I have grouped the bananas in bunches of ten, so I need four people to bring those. I have also need 16 people to bring 1 quart of chocolate ice cream. If you would like to bring more that ten bananas, or 1 quart of ice cream, please fill in the slots that you are willing to bring. For example, if you would like to bring 3 quarts of ice cream, please put your name down three times on the form. This will help me know who is bringing what and who can help. Thanks for all of your support. I love your kids and they never cease to amaze me!!

Field Trip to the Planetarium!
We have the opportunity to go to the Clarke Planetarium on Wednesday, February 24th. I know it’s late notice, but we just barely found out about it. We will be taking the Front Runner to and from the Planetarium. There is a link you can click on that reviews the itinerary for that day. Please read the permission slip well, sign and return it to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, February 17th. This field trip is completely FREE for ALL STUDENTS! We have plenty of room for parents to come on this field trip with us, but you need to pay ahead of time in the office if you want to get in with a cheaper admission price of $6.00. We are excited to take part in this educational experience. The students will learn all about the sun and the moon!

Valentine’s Day Party and Multiplication Madness Party!
On Friday, the 12th from 12:30-1:20 our class will be having a Valentine’s Day card exchange. If your child decides to participate and bring cards, he or she must bring a card for every classmate. We have 24 students in our class. Your child may bring a Valentine’s box or envelope to collect their cards. The card exchange will take place right before our Multiplication Madness Party so I have decided to combine the Valentine’s party and our ice cream party. I am looking for volunteers to help serve at the ice cream party and our class is responsible for bringing bananas and chocolate ice cream. Please email me and let me know if you are able to volunteer or donate items for the party. Thank you for all of your support and help!
Thanks,
Ms. Beckstead
