About Ms. Missy

I am so excited to be your child's teacher! I was a Functional Skills Paraprofessional last year, and this year I get to be their teacher! I have a Bachelors of Science degree from USU and I currently am a student with Western Governors University in their Special Education and Elementary Education degree program. I love to garden, play volleyball, I am a dog lover and I love the beach. I am a wife and a mother to 2 beautiful children. I have an 8 year old daughter, Stella and a 5 year old son named Jefferson. My son introduced us into the Special Education world 5 years ago when he was born. My son was born with Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect. Since the day he was born, he has been my reason! He has been my reason for a career change to help fight and advocate for students who may struggle in the general education setting.

Now that our blog is up and running, I will be adding the weekly Vocabulary words on the blog each week.  Please have your child practice these words as they are apart of their IEP goals as well as to help them with their reading of our weekly Wonders stories.  We recommend you have your child practice spelling verbally, and writing each word each night.

Hi! My name is Missy Warwood.  I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  I have an amazing team that will help us along the way.  My amazing team is: Ms. Ruby, and Ms. Amy.  We are so excited for this school year and we are dedicated to helping our students succeed in every way possible. 

This year we will be incorporating Google Classroom into our daily schedule.  You can connect to our classroom by following the directions listed below. Homework and daily tasks will be uploaded onto this site.

  2. At the top, click Add +  Join class.
