Homework 10/23-11/10

Because Halloween and Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up, and because I will have a sub the week after that, this homework is for the next 3 weeks (10/23-11/10). Students will be spending time practicing Math and Reading, but no official assignments are due.

HOMEWORK:

READING: Students must always read a minimum of 20 minutes each day. They will have another book report due at the end of the second quarter. This book will be a mystery.

MATH: Go to FrontRow Ed and click on MATH at the very bottom of the screen. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE YOUR CHILD DO ANY OF THE ASSIGNMENTS! These have been assigned ahead of time for when we have a sub. They will do these in class and have not learned the content yet. PLEASE ONLY DO MATH on the link at the bottom of the screen. In the MATH link, students should work for 10-20 minutes each night on Operations and Algebraic Thinking and Base 10. After Nov. 6th, students may add in the Fractions section. This is good practice each night.

Happy Long Weekend!

I have not assigned any work for this long weekend, and most students finished their homework in class today.

The book reports were awesome! I didn’t get pictures of everything, but I got a few. I will be putting pictures of good examples of book reports on the Book Reports link above, as well as all of the information about next quarter. You’ll see that later today.

Have a great weekend!
