Multiplication Madness!

banana-split

Students and Parents,
The Multiplication Madness banana split party will be on February 14, which means there is a little more than a month to pass off all 1-11multiplications facts. Please practice your facts at home so that you can get a delicious banana split!! There are many online resources and it often helps just to write out facts for memorization.

Good Luck,
Ms. Young

Whiteboard Markers

We use our individual whiteboards everyday in Math class as a way to stay focused and involved in the lesson. Unfortunately, with this constant use many of our markers no longer work. If parents would donate some new whiteboard markers it would be most appreciated!

Thanks,
Ms. Young

Hour of Code

Our class participated in the world-wide hour of code during the Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 9-15). We had such a good time that many students asked if they could practice at home. Here is the link: code.org/learn. As a class we worked on the Angry Bird game, but they are welcome to try anything on the site.

If they complete a section please have them write their name and send it to my email nyoung@questac.org and I will print their certificates.

Have Fun,
Ms. Young
