SPELLING
As per administrations advice, we will no longer be doing a spelling sort for homework each night. For spelling practice, students will be required to complete the paper below. Students will choose 8 normal words and 2 challenge words and find out how much each is worth. I only need this one paper done for the whole week, but keep in mind there still will be a spelling test at the end of each week based on the sort.

Students know that when we count money each one gets a certain number of “touches” (this is touch math). Quarters get 5 touches, dimes get 2 touches, nickels get 1 touch, and pennies get the number 1 written on it.
