I’m Stacey McBride, and I’m thrilled about being able to work in kindergarten at Quest Academy. For over 30 years, I have had the privilege of working with kids. I’ve loved their enthusiasm for life and their thirst for knowledge. Because of my love for children, I decided to go back to school and finish my education degree. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in ESL (English as a Second Language) from Weber State University.
For several years, I have also owned and operated my own preschool and have loved every minute of it. I’ve been married to my amazing husband and best friend for over 25 years and have loved being a mom to my three beautiful children. I enjoy camping with my family, being outdoors, watching movies, reading a good book, and most of all… traveling.
I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to teach children in other parts of the world, serving with an international humanitarian group. As the education mentor in Thailand, Nepal, Fiji and Peru, I was able to help give these children and their families the educational tools that will assist them in getting out of poverty. I’m looking forward to getting to know the students in my new class, and starting our new learning adventures together.
