Supply Donation List
NOTICE: THE ITEMS ON THIS LIST WILL BE USED DURING THE REGULAR SCHOOL DAY. THEY MAY BE BROUGHT FROM HOME ON A VOLUNTARY BASIS, OTHERWISE, THEY WILL BE FURNISHED BY THE SCHOOL.
This year, we are trying something new with our supply list. 
Rather than listing all necessary supplies and asking you to search the world over to find them, we thought it would make your life much easier to pay $30 to the office to cover the cost of supplies. Feel free to bring your donation payment to Quest’s office on or before Back to School Night, which is Tuesday, August 18th.

This is designed to be money-saving, since we will be able to purchase supplies in bulk. The only item that will not be included in this donation is:
- High-quality over-the ear headphones in a plastic bag, labeled both the headphones and the bag with student’s name. Earbuds tangle easily and don’t block out outside sounds well. We use headphones in the classroom EVERY DAY, so please find a high-quality pair.
If you choose not to donate $30 to cover the cost of supplies, please follow the guidelines for needed supplies below (this is not a requirement but a wonderful donation, thank you!!):
If it seems that I am being picky about certain items, it is only because I have witnessed the frustration of many kindergarteners while they struggle to use inadequate supplies, and I want the best experience possible for your student! THANK YOU for your help with this! 
PLEASE LABEL THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME:
- High-quality over-the-ear headphones, NOT earbuds, in a gallon-sized plastic baggie, label both the headphones and the bag with student’s name. Students become very frustrated with headphones that do not work well. Earbuds tangle very easily and don’t block out outside sounds well. We use headphones in the classroom EVERY DAY, so please find a high-quality pair.
PLEASE DO NOT LABEL THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES:
- 2 Primary-Ruled Journal (not compositions notebooks) (Be sure to purchase “Primary.” If you can’t find them in stores, you can order online at Amazon.com. Please ensure that the journal has lines on the bottom half and room for illustrations on the top.
- 8 thin (fine tip) BLACK Expo brand markers (these can be difficult to find at the beginning of the school year because they are in very high demand. If you are unable to find them at this time, wait a couple weeks and try again. These are a VERY important supply – probably one of the most important for your student.). Please ONLY purchase black, fine tip, expo brand: other colors do not erase well, and the thicker markers are too difficult for your student to use for printing.
- 3 small glue sticks
- 1 pair of children’s blunt tip scissors
- 1 box crayons, 24-count; preferably Crayola
- 3 LARGE bottle of Lysol Brand wipes only
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 1 box of bandaids
- 3 packs of baby wipes
- Prizes for treasure box
