Food Drive
Quest will be participating in the Besst Realty Canned Food Drive from October 1st to October 19th. This is a great way to help families in our community. Last year, we collected and donated over 22,000 items. You can donate any canned food, travel hygiene items, full size hygiene items, toothbrushes, and floss. Thank you for your help!

Homework
Please do homework every night!! I only require that you practice your child’s letter ring/or baggy book and their sight word ring for 20 minutes every night. Several children have told me that they aren’t getting any (or very little) practice at home on their letters. Please help your child to be successful in kindergarten by helping them do their homework every night. Also, many children have not brought back their letter ring or their sight word ring for several weeks. Please remind them to return their letter ring at least every other day. Finally, parents please do not throw away the ziploc bag that the letter ring is in. This bag is the only way to identify who the letters belong to.
I really want to help your child succeed in kindergarten but I cannot do it without support from home. Contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you!

Cookie Dough Orders are due on Monday
Cookie Dough orders are due MONDAY, September 10th. Thank you for your participation in this fundraiser. Help us reach our class goal to sell 150 items by Monday.
Proceeds from the cookie dough will help to fund school activities like clubs, sports, field day, field trips, library books, and more.

Dollar dress down day
This is just a reminder that this Friday is a short day and $1.00 dress down day. The elementary will begin at 8:30am and end at 10:30 for the AM class and 11:30 to 1:30 for the PM class. Below are the guidelines for dress down Fridays:
On dress down days, students are still expected to dress in a manner that positively impacts the learning environment. Clothing must be modest, tasteful, and it must not compromise safety standards for our students. The following standards include:

Picture Day is Wednesday, August 29th Wear school UNIFORMS, no spirit shirts (in the Spring there will be a dress down picture day)
Picture day flyers were sent home today in your student homework folder (red folder-AM class, blue folder-PM class).
