Oh, the Places You'll Go!

On February 2nd, we will have attended kindergarten for 100 days.  We are planning a big “100 Day Celebration”!  I would love your help.  I will be sending home an empty Ziploc bag with a 100 days note on the outside of it.  Please fill the Ziploc bag with 10 items that are the same and write your child’s name on the outside of the bag.  These items can be anything from toy cars to stickers (please do not send any food items).  Please return these to school by February 2nd.  

I will be doing SEPs on the week of Jan. 30th.  SEPs are purely optional for your benefit. If you have concerns or would like to have a conference with me, I will be available immediately before or after AM Kindergarten class time. Please email me and let me know if you would like to set up an appointment and what time works best for you, and I will be happy to meet with you. 

Starting January 21st, I will be sending a stuffed teddy bear home with your child along with a writing journal. It will come home with one student at a time. I ask that you spend a couple of days with Mr. Bear and have your child write about what they did with him. Every child will be able to have a chance to take Mr. Bear home with them. I have written a note in the front of the writing journal to explain what to do. I will be sending them both home in a Dr. Seuss bag.

We just got notice that there is a school wide sing-a-long on the 19th of December (last day of school before Winter Break). The sing-a-long is from 9:00-10:00am. That day school will start at 8:30 but get out at 10:30. This is a little longer (30 min.longer) than our normal short day schedule, this will allow us to be able to participate in the program. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you so much.

If at all possible, I would really appreciate a donation of prizes and/or treats for our piñata and our Holland shoes. Please send them as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your help!

The Wedding of Q and U was a huge success. The children had so much fun.  Thank you for your support.  Enjoy watching the wedding.
