We have completed all our lessons. Homework will be review for year end testing.
Please have your student complete every other problem in the math packet.

  • Worksheets: Please complete every other problem (alternate between evens and odds so your child gets practice doing story problems AND “Vocabulary Check”/ “Test Practice” problems each week).  If your child wants to do every problem they are certainly free to do so! 🙂

Betsy Ross and her 5 point star in one cut

Today with our 4th grade reading buddies, Betsy Ross showed us how to cut a 5 point star in just one cut.  It was a little tricky and we have challenged the students to watch the clip and learn how to do it in order to show us on Monday when we try again.  Click on the link below:

Once it pulls up click on the first video clip at the top left that is named “Betsy Ross One Cut 5 Pointed Star”.  Feel free to keep watching over and over until you can complete the steps to make your very own 5 point star in one cut.  

1st Grade Patriotic Choir for Quest Gala

music notesFirst grade has been invited to perform a couple Patriotic program songs for the upcoming Quest Academy Gala. We are able to have 5 students from our class participate. We are offering this special opportunity on a first come, first serve basis.

Quest Academy Gala 
Monday, April 24th
Comfort Suites Hotel
1150 W. 2150 S., Ogden, Utah
The Gala “social” begins at 5:00
The Gala “dinner” begins at 6:00
Performing students must arrive at 6:00pm and perform at 6:15pm

For those purchasing tickets to the Gala, your child will go to a separate room before and after the performance. They will be fed and supervised while you enjoy the Gala.

Library Day


Owl On Books
Library books are due every Wednesday. 
 Checking out books from our school library is a privilege. To check out books students are expected to:
1- Follow the library rules (be respectful, follow directions, use a library voice, etc.)
2- Return library books (no outstanding books)
3- Select a book during the allotted time
