My name is Cami Hamblin. I am so excited to be joining the third grade team at Quest Academy! I got to spend most of the day yesterday at Quest Academy meeting the wonderful teachers and third graders. Everyone made me feel so welcome and I know how lucky I am to be here!
This will be my eighth year of teaching. Previously I taught 4th grade at Wasatch Peak Academy. I love teaching and think it will be exciting to be in a different grade for the remainder of this year. I love to read and especially love teaching Language Arts. My current favorite book (it changes often!) is Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. Have you read it? One of my favorite things about being a teacher is that I get to learn something new every single day!
When I’m not at school you can most likely find me at home with the three most handsome boys — my husband, Kevin, and sons, Seth and Spencer. We love to be outside, play with Legos, make and eat delicious food, and build things together. When my boys aren’t around, I like to make crafts, play the piano, and read.
I know transitioning to a new teacher can be really hard, but I believe we can do hard things together! Please be patient with me. I’m sure there will be hiccups along the way, but I promise to do my very best! If at any time you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.
