Important SAGE Testing Information!!

It’s time to get started with our end of year SAGE testing.  I really want to make sure your children are well rested and full with a BIG, yummy breakfast on these testing dates.  Also, please make sure your children are here and are ON TIME these days!  We want them to be as successful as possible.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Also, research shows that students are calmer and focus better when they chew peppermint gum during tests.  So, I will be giving peppermint gum to the students during each session.  If you do not want your child to have gum, please contact me and let me know.  Thanks so much for all you do!

Planetarium Field Trip Info!

Remember, the field trip this week is to the Planetarium in Salt Lake.  We will meet at the Sandridge Frontrunner station in Roy at 8:15. We will return to the station at 2:45 so please remember to pick up your student before you pick up any siblings at Quest.  Please have your child wear their tie-dyed T-shirt, and uniform pants.  They will also need a backpack to hold their lunch and jacket.  It might be chilly and we will be eating outside.  Your child will not need ANY money for this field trip and we have asked our volunteer adults to not purchase anything at the planetarium.  The food court is undergoing a renovation, so please do not plan to purchase your lunch there.

Care Takers Needed!

Parents,
Our class became the proud parents of four hermit crabs today.  I am looking for volunteers to take them over spring break.  I will provide the bottled water, salt water, and crab food for the week.  These creatures are low maintenance, however they do require clean water and fresh food daily, so you need to be around to care for them.  Please contact me if you are interested.
Thanks,
Ms. Beckstead
