This week our class will be focusing on how shared experiences can help people adapt to change. As an example, we will be taking a look at the Great Depression to learn about its causes and the effects it had on people.

As we didn’t quite reach our Little Caesars goal, the fundraiser will be extended until Friday, February 28th. For every three cards sold by elementary students, they will receive a prize. The top three classes will win a pizza and ice cream party. The Little Caesars breadstick cards are $10 and give you a savings of over $30. Quest makes $7 off every card students sell. The money raised will help with field trips, field day, after school clubs, and other school activities. These cards make great gifts to neighbors, family, and friends.

On February 14th, our class will be having our Valentine’s Day party, as well as a card exchange. Students are welcome to bring a decorated box or bag and Valentine’s Day cards. There are 24 students in our class. The card exchange is optional, but if your student chooses to participate, please remember food items are not allowed.
