Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Many parents have still not paid for school supplies ($30) or field trip ($10) donations. 

Just a reminder that all field trip donations are needed by the end of next week! We will be deciding if we have enough money to go on our two planned field trips to the Treehouse Museum and to SeaQuest. We will have to cancel field trips if we do not receive enough donations. 

Please pay your donation to the school office by Oct. 1st. Thank you for your support!

We are selling Cookie Dough to help fund awesome things for our awesome students! Proceeds from the cookie dough will help to fund school activities like clubs, sports, field day, field trips, library books, and more.  We sent home order forms today with your child.

Here are some things to know:

Orders are due back by Sept 18

Cookie dough orders will arrive Oct 6 at the school

The class that sells 150 tubs earns an Ice Cream Party!! There are other great prizes as well. 

Just a quick reminder that Monday, August 21st is picture day. I have order forms in my classroom in case you want to buy pictures. Just drop by my classroom and pick one up on Monday or order online.

Field Day Tomorrow-Dress Down in clothing that will dry quickly. 

The clothing still needs to be school approved clothing. T-shirts and shorts are fine. We won’t get soaked, but we will get wet. Sunscreen is a really good idea too.  It will be hot and we will be outside all day.

Friday-Dress Down and Early Out-Last Day of School

We are sad to see this year come to an end. It has been a wonderful year. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful children with me. I will miss them greatly! 

This week and next week we will be testing our students on adding and subtracting, 2D and 3D shapes, and counting to 100. Please review these concepts with your child each night. Thank you for your help and support from home. 

Parents who are volunteering for our field trip tomorrow please come to school 20 minutes early and pay your $5 to the office of admission. Thank you so much for your help!

Just a reminder, April’s reading calendar and homework packets are due. Please make sure your child turned them in.

Remember our Field Trip is Tomorrow. We will be lining up outside, I will take roll, and we will go directly to the bus from there.  DO NOT SEND A BACKPACK on Thursday. We will bypass the classroom. Of course a jacket will be fine if the weather requires it. We will be back to the school for you to pick up your child at 12:00 NOON.

This is the last call for school pictures. If you want your child’s school pictures please come by the classroom and pick them up. If you have not sent in your school picture money please have it to school by Friday. 

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is our Reading Race Party!! Friday is also a dollar dress down day and a short day schedule. Your child is welcome to wear their pajamas and bring a stuffed animal on Friday as well. We will be having cookies (email me if you do not want your child to eat a cookie). 

May 1st and 2nd will be our testing days. There will be no kindergarten class these days. I look forward to seeing you on Monday or Tuesday. 

Also, homework and reading calendars for March are due this week. Please make sure your child has turned in their homework. I will send out emails of missing homework.
