Week of November 29th

I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving break. Below is what we will be working on for the week.

Important Dates:

  • Dec. 1st – Yearbook Cover Contest Ends – See email that was sent from Admin for details
  • Dec. 3rd – Angle Tree Dollar Dress Down Day
  • Dec. 4th – The 5th Annual Reindeer Run
  • Dec. 20th – Jan. 2nd – Winter Break

MATH – Please remember to continue practicing multiplication facts with your third grader at home. You can find a cheap set of flashcards at the dollar store, you can print off your own online, or use index cards to create your own. No matter which flashcards you use, it is so important that your child has practice.

We will be starting lesson 14 this week. Below is the family letter from our math workbook. On the second page of the letter, there is an activity to help students understand area. You are not required to do the activity, it’s just a suggestion if you’d like your child to practice at home.

ELA: This week we’re working on Unit 2 Week 4 in our Wonders book. Below is an outline of what we will be learning.

This is our last week before Thanksgiving break. We have so much to accomplish this week, so please make sure that your child is here so they do not miss out on the learning fun!!
