Here are some pictures from our STEM project this month, the Balloon Car Challenge. Students researched and sketched balloon powered cars. They worked in teams to try to create a car that would travel 5 ft. and go further than their opponents’ cars. Each team needed to delegate roles and responsibilities, manage time and materials, share ideas, combine knowledge and skills, communicate effectively, as well as test, evaluate, and revise their design.
