Student Council Application 2018-2019

We are excited to offer a Junior Parent Night! Come learn about all the exciting clubs, sports and events we offer at Q2. Our cutting-edge math program, Edgenuity, allows students a comprehensive and rewarding personalized learning experience. As Jr. High students, they have the opportunity to work will new teachers and take elective courses that interest them. Please join us for this informational Junior Parent Night to learn and answer any questions you may have!

Just a reminder that the maturation presentation will be held on March 13th in the Q2 gym. Each session will take no longer than one hour. 

The girls’ session will begin at 8:45 am.
The boys’ session will begin at 9:45 am.

Here is a look at what’s happening in our class this week…..

Monday: Library, STEM & Music – Please bring your recorders.

Friday: Early out – 1:30pm

Book Reports: Books should be chosen and completely read by the end of this week. We will complete biography book reports in class next week. 

Social Studies: Everyone did a great job presenting on their westward expansion topic last week!

Math: Students will graph and interpret points in the first quadrant of a coordinate plane. 











*Math tutoring is available every Thursday after school from 3:00 – 3:30. 

Science – Heredity: Students will understand that traits are passed from parent organisms to their offspring and that sometimes the offspring may possess variations of these traits that may help or hinder survival in a given environment.

Language Arts: We will review and test on Unit 4.
