Brainiacs!

Published by

Brainiacs!

Becoming a Brainiac is a simple process…find a topic that interests you, research it, and share your research! It is that simple! There are many topics to choose from, your only limit is your curiosity.

The steps to becoming a Brainiac are as follows:

  • Choose a topic to investigate and get it approved by Mrs. Tucker.
  • Develop a list of questions you have about your chosen and approved topic. Think of the “who, what, when, where, why, which, and how” kinds of things.
  • Investigate! Use books, experts on your topic, the internet, observation, perform experiments, write letters to find out the information, and so on. Do what it takes to answer your questions.
  • Organize your information. Be sure to write down the information you have found in a clear manner. Each report will be assigned a certain number of words needed to make the report complete.
  • Present your findings. You will do this by creating a visual about your topic. This can be the actual object, like a rock, or pictures on a poster. You can even create an iMovie, Powerpoint, write a poem, play an instrument. Again, you are only limited by your imagination and creativity!
  • Be sure to turn in your written report and bring in your visual each time you complete a Brainiac project.

Good luck!
