Dear Parents,

We have an exciting week ahead of us. Next week we will be having a couple of activities.

First, we will be going on a field trip on Tuesday, December 17 to various points in Ogden as well as to the Peery’s Egyptian Theater to watch the famous Isaac dance in the Nutcracker ballet.

Second, we will be watching the movie, “The Miracle on 34^th Street” on Thursday, December 19. This will be a culminating activity to our theme of “Believe in yourself” that we have been working on this past week. During this time, students may bring in a snack of their choice…..one that is not to be shared.

Third, we are having a PaRtY on Friday, December 20 from 10 -12. During this PaRtY, we will be playing reindeer games, eating reindeer treats, and enjoying reindeer music. Truly, we will have a game that involves candy like: butterfingers, laffy taffy, snickers, baby ruth, and maybe even a sip of hot cocoa. J I also have a small treat from the Mouse  at {Disneyland}.  During this activity, we will also be doing a white elephant gift exchange. Students may bring in a gently used item with a value of $5 or less. Students may purchase an item instead, if they wish, but it still needs to be $5 or less. We will be playing a game with the items and everyone will go home with a random gift. No names are needed on the gift, since we don’t know who will get it!

In order for your child to participate in the reindeer activities and participate in the reindeer treats, I need your permission. Please sign and return the bottom slip with your student. If there are any questions, please email me at stucker@questac.org or call 801-731-9859.
