1. Malya bought 14 cans of cat food. Each can weighs 4oz. How many ounces of cat food did she buy?
2.One 747-passenger plane can carry 425 people. How many total passengers can be carried in 4 planes?

What a weekend! Here’s to a great week!!

Homework:
Read for 20 minutes or more.

Spelling: We have started Words Their Way…remember that this is a program to practice with the pattern of words, not just the spelling of them. Some words may seem easy, and others hard….but we are practicing the pattern of the words, not just the spelling. With that being said….Tonight, please sort your words and practice the pattern, then write them according to their category.

Math: Estimate the product to the nearest ten or hundred or both: 1. 345 x 12     2. 65 x 29    3. 102 x 77     4. 45 x 43

So many adventures on the high seas at Tucker Beach! An invasion of Pirates!! We researched their lives….we found buried treasure…we used maps that we found to locate the treasure…oh so many adventures!!!

Whew! Explorers are done! Now onto the Colonies!

We received an amazing gift today in the mail from a friend of mine! BOOKS!!!!
